Recall an infamous moment in baseball history, with this 7/24/83 New York Yankees ticket stub. Known as the "Pine Tar Game", the game in question saw the visiting Kansas City Royals trailing the Yankees 5-4, with two outs and one man on in the top of the 8th inning, when Hall of Fame third baseman George Brett launched a two-run homer into the right field bleachers at Yankee Stadium. In one of the craziest scenes the game has ever witnessed, Brett made a mad charge from the dugout at umpire Tim McClelland, who had called Brett out for having pine tar way up on his bat, passed the factory brand labeling. PSA has encapsulated this famous game stub, with a grade of (VG-EX 4). This rating is good for a PSA Pop Report rank as "1/7" at this level, with "4" higher, out of a total population of "31".
